Sexual diversity awareness campaign

As part of the Aboriginal AIDS Awareness Week, which kicks off on December 1, 2019, the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission (FNQLHSSC) is proud to launch the second year of the campaign, “Be together. Feel good.” The 2019-2020 campaign will focus on sexual diversity. Click here to download the poster.

Using this campaign, the FNQLHSSC aims to:

  • Promote sexual health and sexual diversity by placing the focus on healthy relationships.
  • Foster the emergence of a healthy, respectful view of sexuality among First Nations in Quebec.
  • Elicit changes in attitudes, perceptions and behaviours.

We invite you to put up the campaign poster in high-traffic areas to ensure maximum visibility. We also recommend that you organize activities related to sexual diversity in your community or organization. To do so, the FNQLHSSC invites you to visit these few websites where you can find useful resources:

Fact sheet on jealousy

As part of the campaign, the FNQLHSSC has developed a useful and practical fact sheet focused on jealousy.

The fact sheet is available in a PDF format, in French and English. Feel free to print out more copies for distribution during activities and workshops, or to use electronic versions for social media or web-based dissemination.

Should you need additional information, feel free to contact Marie-Noëlle Caron, Public Health Advisor, at 418-842-1540, ext. 2707, or
