• Horizon - The new Income Security Program management system rolls out
Dec 03, 2018

The FNQLHSSC is currently working on the deployment of the Horizon system, which will replace PING, the current Income Security Program management system.

Underway since November 2017, this redesign project aims to better meet the needs of community income security agents and to improve the efficiency and ease of use of the system. In addition to having a modern and scalable environment to accommodate the real needs of users, Horizon will offer new features such as reminders, automated calculations, and automated accountability reporting.

The deployment of the new system is scheduled for September 2019. In the meantime, the FNQLHSSC will conduct preliminary tests in the communities of Opitciwan, Lac-Simon, Timiskaming, Uashat mak Mani-Utenam, Mashteuiatsh, Odanak and Listuguj. In addition, each community will receive a deployment kit to prepare for the transition from one system to another.

The FNQLHSSC project team will keep communities up-to-date with the necessary information on the different steps. If you have any questions about the project, please contact Bruno Tremblay, Infostructure and Information Management Systems Project Manager at bruno.tremblay@cssspnql.com or at 418-842-1540, ext. 2203.
