Sexual health

Sexual health: a question of knowledge

Our sexual health mandate

We support First Nations communities and organizations in their activities concerning the promotion of sexual health and the development of the skills of resource persons at the local level.

Support and training

Our team supports the work of people who are called upon to intervene on matters or in situations concerning sexual health, such as contraception, the prevention of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections or teenage pregnancy. Using means such as workshops and training, we work together to develop their skills so that they can assist their clientele more effectively.

Information and awareness

We produce information and education tools, targeted or generalized, with the objective of promoting the development of sexual health knowledge. We support the realization of awareness campaigns promoting healthy sexual behaviours and respectful attitudes. The “Be Together. Feel Good.” campaign, which focuses on sexual diversity, inclusion and openness, is one example.
