Here\u2019s the latest info bulletin from Indigenous Services Canada<\/a>. Among other things, you will find information regarding the spread of respiratory viruses, Community Services Recovery Fund and 2023 National First Nations Water Leadership Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 16, 2021, the Superior Court of Quebec authorized a class action against The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and you could be a member. This class action aims to obtain compensation for anyone who has been sexually abused by a religious member, a lay employee or a volunteer. Click here for more info<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call for the Comit\u00e9 consultatif en itinerance<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Table interminist\u00e9rielle en sant\u00e9 mentale et en itinerance (interdepartmental table on mental health and homelessness) has reserved two positions on the Comit\u00e9 consultatif en itin\u00e9rance (advisory committee on homelessness) for people who have developed experiential, organizational, clinical and\/or scientific knowledge on the issue of homelessness among Indigenous people. The Table is looking for candidates to sit on this committee. For more information: jocelyn.gadbois@msss.gouv.qc.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second edition of the Gagne ton activit\u00e9 \u00e9ducative!<\/em> contest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From January 31 to February 19, 2023, take part in the second edition of the Gagne ton activit\u00e9 \u00e9ducative (win your educational activity) contest! Institutions (childcare centres, daycares, elementary and high schools, youth centres, summer camps, etc.) have a chance to win $500, which must be used to carry out an educational activity with children aged 0 to 17 years focused on healthy eating. Call for proposals: For Quebec foods in our schools<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This call for proposals is aimed at public elementary and high schools in Quebec as well as public vocational training centres that serve young people aged 17 and under, among other things. The NCCIH announces new Academic Co-Leads<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 20 years, Dr. Margo Greenwood, a scholar of Cree ancestry, is moving on from the National Collaborating Centre for Indigenous Health to her new appointment as a Senator. Dr. Sheila Blackstock and Dr. Daniel Sims, both Indigenous scholars and Associate Professors at the University of Northern British Columbia, will begin their new roles as Academic Co-Leads of NCCIH on February 1, 2023.
