CMDO 2024 Winter Camp \u2013 February 2-6, 2024 <\/span><\/span>(in French only)<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>

School<\/span> Health<\/span> Grant for <\/span>Youth<\/span> applications<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span>The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is pleased to announce the la<\/span><\/span>u<\/span><\/span>nch of the <\/span><\/span>School Health Grant for Youth<\/span><\/span><\/a> 2023 application process!<\/span><\/span> Secondary H<\/span><\/span>i<\/span><\/span>gh School students aged 13 to 19 from across Canada are invited to apply for one of three levels of grant funding ($1500, $2500, or $3500) to develop a youth-driven project to improve healthy living in their school<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span>This program encourages youth to put their ideas into action while giving back to their school community. <\/span><\/span>The application deadline is <\/span><\/span>Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (12:00 pm EDT)<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Publication :<\/span> Legislative<\/span> Review<\/span> of the Cannabis <\/span>Act<\/span>: <\/span>What<\/span> We<\/span> Heard Report<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span>The Expert Panel conducting the legislative review of the <\/span><\/span>Cannabis Act<\/span><\/span> published its report entitled <\/span><\/span>Legislative Review of the <\/span>Cannabis Act<\/span>: What We Heard Report<\/span><\/span>. The report<\/span> provide<\/span>s<\/span> an overview of the engagement the Panel has done <\/span><\/span>up to June 2023<\/span><\/span> and summarizes the views of stakeholders and First Nations,<\/span> Inui<\/span>t<\/span> and M\u00e9tis partners on the areas the Panel is revie<\/span><\/span>wing<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Consult the report<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

DECDIACTION<\/span><\/b> \nDECIDACTION is a\u00a0youth-based <\/span>participatory budget<\/span><\/a>\u00a0pilot initiative, specifically dedicated to First Nations youth (12-35 years old). It is organized by\u00a0<\/span>New Pathways Foundation’s<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Social Innovation\u00a0Lab\u00a0in Indigenization,\u00a0with financial support from the Quebec\u00a0Youth Secretariat.
