Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The contest is open to First Nations only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minors must be authorized by a parent or guardian. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members of the selection committee, members of the working group on information governance and employees of the AFNQL secretariat and the RCOs are not eligible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>2. Concept of the logo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The image should:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evoke the theme of information governance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent all First Nations (use of universal symbols, animals, objects or colours for every nation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be versatile (usable in colour, black and white, backwards and on small and large surfaces).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be delivered in vector format (.ai or .eps) <strong>OR<\/strong> the original paper copy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>3. Rationale<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A brief description between 100 and 250 words explaining the symbolism of the logo as well as the elements that were chosen to appear in it and what they mean, such as the shapes and colours. The description can also be submitted in audio or video format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>4. Right to cancel or modify<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FNQLHSSC reserves the right to refuse all proposals received and\/or to make changes to the winning logo according to the requirements of the selection committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>5. Copyright<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The logo must be created by the actual participant. The logo must be an original and must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of another natural person or legal person (copyright or trademark). The <strong>winner<\/strong> agrees to cede to the FNQLHSSC their intellectual property rights (including copyright) relating to the logo. Copyright will not apply to the <strong>two other finalist logos<\/strong>, as their documents will be kept for 90 days and then destroyed. These copyrights will not be applied to the two finalist images. Their records will be retained for 90 days and then destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>6. Acceptance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By participating in this contest, the participant agrees to comply with these rules.&nbsp; The finalists and the winner authorize the FNQLHSSC to use their <em>names and\/or the names of their company and community<\/em> for promotional purposes, without any form of compensation other than the prizes awarded (see point 10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>7. Number of entries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants may submit a maximum of one logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>8. Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contest starts on February 28 and ends on April 14, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>9. Participation method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enter the contest, participants must go on <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=RS3AbFxe-kCOnvF7Qp7b1TbAJ2c-iPFApJWytSa2iv1UNkpZRk1VQkdLSFdaRTRZVUxTRzE3UVkzQy4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the website<\/a> and download the interactive form. Participants must complete the form and provide the logo in compressed .zip vector format by email to info@cssspnql.com no later than 11:59 p.m. on <strong>April 14, 2024<\/strong>. Participants can also print out the form, complete it and send it by email to <a href=\"mailto:info@cssspnql.com\">info@cssspnql.com<\/a> or by mail (postmarked) to the following address: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Information governance logo contest<\/strong> <br>First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission <br>250 Place Chef-Michel-Laveau, Suite 102, Wendake, QC G0A 4V0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>For your application to be eligible, you must send all the documents (form and logo) to the address indicated above before the deadline.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>10. Description of the prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prizes will be awarded to the three finalists who submitted the best logos:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#767c7f\"><strong>Grand prize<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Logo formatted for use for all communication tools and a 10.9&#8243; iPad Wi\u2011Fi, 256 GB, valued at $800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#767c7f\"><strong>Second and third prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2<sup>nd<\/sup> prize: $250 Visa gift card. <br>3<sup>rd<\/sup> prize: $100 Visa gift card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>11. Process for awarding prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the contest has ended, a selection committee will meet and retain a maximum of three logos among all the proposals received. The participants who submitted these three logos will be contacted and informed of the next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The names of the finalists and winner will be posted on the <a href=\"https:\/\/cssspnql.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> on May 9, 2024. The winner&#8217;s name, logo and rationale will also be posted on the FNQLHSSC website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#e84242\"><strong>12.
