Call for applications for the International Summer School on Land, Food, Health and Well-being<\/strong>Sentinel North is offering a unique experiential training that focuses on ecosystemic approaches to health in a transdisciplinary context, combining Indigenous, scientific and professional knowledge. The International Summer School on land, food, health and well-being<\/a> is intended for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows from all disciplines and for Indigenous students with a keen interest in these subjects and with post-secondary education. It will take place in Uashat mak Mani-utenam (C\u00f4te-Nord) and Mushuau-nipi (Nitassinan\/Nunavik) from August 12 to 20, 2024.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n

Youth Recognition Awards and Call for Young Indigenous Leaders in Sustainable Development<\/strong>Once again this year, the Secr\u00e9tariat \u00e0 la jeunesse’s Youth Recognition Awards will give special recognition to a young indigenous person who stands out in his or her community, or who contributes to making his or her community, identity and culture shine through his or her commitment and achievements. A special award will also be presented to a caregiver who contributes to the well-being of Quebec’s Indigenous youth through his or her commitment, benevolence and achievements. Nominations<\/a> are accepted until March 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.\u00a0<\/p><\/p>\n\n
