The call for entries for the second edition of the LGBTQ+ Action Award is now open! The award aims to highlight the exceptional contribution of individuals and organizations who help make Quebec a welcoming society that respects the rights of LGBTQ+ people, notably by reducing the inequalities they may experience and improving their well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Financial Support program<\/strong>
The Minist\u00e8re de la Famille (Minist\u00e8re), in collaboration with the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du Plan Nord, has just launched a new Financial support program to foster community action for First Nation and Inuit families in the northern territory (Program) as part of the Northern Action Plan 2023-2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding for the Celebrate Canada Program<\/strong>
The Celebrate Canada funding program provides funding to community-based activities celebrating and promoting National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day on June 24, Canadian Multiculturalism Day on June 27 and Canada Day on July 1. These celebrations enable Canadians to appreciate Canada\u2019s cultural, ethnic, linguistic and geographic diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistance Measure Campaign<\/em><\/strong>

How to Reduce Serious Accidents Among Children?<\/strong>
Health Canada invites stakeholders working with children, such as those in early childhood centers, community or health settings, and schools, to attend a presentation on the safe use of consumer products<\/a> and how to identify and report hazardous or prohibited items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentations are free and last two hours<\/strong>. They can be conducted in person or virtually, in French or in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building a multisport mini-field in your community<\/strong>
To mark its tenth anniversary in 2023, the Montreal Impact Foundation has launched an ambitious project to build 10 multisport mini-fields over five years, with two fields built each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
