Call for application: effervescence stars contest<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “EFFERVESCENCE Stars” competition recognizes three researchers in Quebec who have distinguished themselves through their scientific contributions and who have recently collaborated with the life sciences and health technologies industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City of Montreal, in partnership with the Minist\u00e8re de la Culture et des Communications, is launching two call for projects aimed at Indigenous artists!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call for projects – Ephemeral public art: In relation with the Strategy for Reconciliation, the Bureau d\u2019art public of the Service de la culture de la Ville de Montr\u00e9al is calling for proposals for ephemeral public art created by Quebec Indigenous emerging artists or collectives base or are artistically active in Montr\u00e9al. This call aims to highlight the work of emerging Indigenous artists by enabling them to present their works in the public space, in a spirit of valorization of cultural practices in Montr\u00e9al. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline: May 6, 2022, at noon

Call for projects – Mural art: This call for mural projects is aimed at supporting the production of murals produced by Qu\u00e9bec Indigenous creators who live or work as artists in Montr\u00e9al. The projects must be integrated into sectors that are meaningful for the Montr\u00e9al Indigenous community or have good visibility for the general public in such a way as to highlight the Indigenous presence in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 
It is addressed to Indigenous non-profit organizations, Qu\u00e9bec Indigenous creators (who live or work as artists in Montr\u00e9al), and Indigenous artist collectives.

The Quebec government is continuing its fight against bullying and cyberbullying.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From March 3 to March 31, a new cyberbullying awareness campaign will appear on social media. Five short videos presenting concrete examples of inadmissible behavior will be broadcast on the platforms used by young people aged 14 to 24: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. A link to help resources from the Cyberbullying page will also appear there. In addition, a radio capsule in French and English will be broadcast on Spotify and will specifically target young adults aged 18 to 24. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This campaign is part of the Concerted action plan to prevent and counter bullying and cyberbullying 2020-2025 Commit collectively to a society without bullying.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
