2024 Canada Summer Jobs – Invitation to attend an information session

The application period for the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) runs from November 21, 2023, to January 10, 2024. To support applicants, Service Canada Quebec region will offer 60 minutes information sessions. The purpose of these information sessions is to provide general information on the 2024 CSJ program.

French session : December 5, 2023 , from 10 : 00 a.m. to 11: 00 a.m. Registration.  
English session : December 7, 2023, from 13 : 30 p.m. to 14 : 30 p.m. Registration.

Enhanced edition – Culturally Significant Pictograms guide for children from First Peoples

As part of International Children’s Rights Day, the Jasmin Roy Sophie Desmarais Foundation is launching an enhanced and bilingual edition of the Culturally Significant Pictograms guide for children from First Peoples. Those involved in school or community settings are invited to download the tool at https://fondationjasminroy.com/en/ . 

Call for projects – Social economy initiatives in food security 
The First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Economic Development Commission (FNQLEDC) aims to establish an environment and support that is conducive to the development of collective enterprises in food security. You have until December 8, 2023 to submit your application!

Expanded Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Program (Expanded SIP) Public Safety Canada is pleased to announce that the Expanded Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Program (Expanded SIP) call for applications is now open and accepting requests for funding.  Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis until March 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT), or until all funding has been allocated. All projects supported through the expanded SIP must be completed and all funding spent by March 31, 2024.
