In the context of the accessibility and administration of the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program under the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB), we advise and support First Nations communities and organizations in resolving general problems.
Our team offers personalized support to resource persons who work with First Nations. Our services support efforts aiming to ensure access to health services, through the NIHB program or other programs.
Our mandate also involves informing the First Nations in Quebec regarding the health programs and services available to them. In addition, we are able to analyze health policies and laws and represent the points of view and concerns of First Nations at the regional and national levels.
