Health and Social Services Directors

Supporting the work of health and social services management

Supporting the efforts of communities and organizations

Our mandate with the First Nations Health and Social Services Directors consists of support-advisory work based on the needs of the communities and organizations. We support them in the planning, development and delivery of preventive health and social services programs while working to improve the service offer and accessibility to such programs. Our areas of intervention are varied, ranging from support for the hiring and training of personnel, to crisis management, including coordination, liaison, deployment and project management.

Our team supports First Nations communities and organizations in the negotiation and implementation of agreements and protocols. We support access to information technology, infrastructure and equipment. We offer personalized technical support, while promoting capacity building. Thus, the communities and organizations that we advise are able to achieve their goals.
