Launch of the New Horizons for Seniors Program 2023–2024 Call for Proposals
On August 1st, 2023, the Government of Canada will launch the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) Community-based stream 2023-2024 Call for proposals to invest in projects across Canada. Organizations will have a total of six weeks to submit their applications. Baseball Québec wants to share its love of baseball with you!
They offer a free visit to your community to train coaches and facilitate initiation to baseball workshops. New equipment will be donated to the community so that you can continue to practice the best sport in the world. 2023 National Summit on Indigenous Mental Wellness – Call for Presentations
A second National Summit on Indigenous Mental Wellness will be held on October 25th and 26th, 2023 in Ottawa, Ontario. First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities, organizations and leaders in mental wellness as well as front-line service providers and academics working with Indigenous populations are invited to submit presentations that highlight initiatives that are improving First Nations, Inuit and Métis mental wellness by August 25, 2023. National Mental Health and Substance Use Questionnaire for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples and Communities
Do you identify as, or provide mental health and/or substance use care for First Nations, Inuit, or Métis peoples? Standards Council Canada is developing a roadmap to the standardization of mental health and substance use health services and would like your input. Complete the 10-minute survey now.
Call for papers: Jordan’s principle
As part of a special issue for a journal, the Health Reform Observer invites service providers, First Nations and Inuit leadership, and policy experts to share experiences with and reflections on efforts to achieve equitable and effective services for First Nations and Inuit children and families. Estates management funding
The Estates Management Funding Program provides funding to eligible persons, communities, and organizations to support capacity-building for estate planning and administration for First Nations. Applications for funding must be submitted by August 6, 2023. Click here for more information.

Resources for victims of crime, their support workers and their families are available on the gouvernement du Québec website. Click here to access it.
