Notetaking and recordkeeping workshop

Main objective
Improve your knowledge of progress notetaking and recordkeeping. 

Specific training objectives 

• Broaden your knowledge of notetaking and recordkeeping based on best practices. 

• Expand on the concepts of confidentiality that apply to records. 

• Learn more about how to write a progress note. 

• Explore the model for writing SOAP notes. 

Target training audience
The training is intended for workers (special educators, social workers, community workers, psychoeducators) who must write progress notes. 

Pedagogical approach
Scenarios, video, exercises, group reflections, sharing of professional experiences, etc. 

Training duration and conditions
The duration of the training is approximately two hours and a half and can be provided to a maximum of 12 to 15 participants at a time, depending on the needs, via Teams.
