JUSTICE 101

Justice 101 is a six-video educational series on law aimed at First Nations teenagers and adults.

With the rate of court referrals for people living in First Nations communities at 15%, compared to 3% for those living elsewhere in Quebec, the FNQLHSSC has produced this series in collaboration with Éducaloi and La Boîte Rouge VIF to promote better understanding of the Quebec justice system.

Created to be simple, clear and effective, Justice 101 aims to educate youth and adults on the legal process, their rights and recourses, and the various resources available to them. Featuring a dozen actors from different Nations and communities, the videos cover topics such as arrest, conditions of sentences and healing from being the victim of a crime.
