LGBTQ+ Action Awards
The call for entries for the second edition of the LGBTQ+ Action Award is now open! The award aims to highlight the exceptional contribution of individuals and organizations who help make Quebec a welcoming society that respects the rights of LGBTQ+ people, notably by reducing the inequalities they may experience and improving their well-being.

FNIGC National Scholarship 2024
The First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) Scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding First Nations students enrolled in a college or university. Application deadline: November 29, 2024. To find out more, click here.
School Health Grant for Youth applications
Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has informed us that they are now accepting applications for the School Health Grant for Youth! Applications that meet all eligibility criteria set out in the Youth Grant Applicant Guide will be approved on a first-come first-served basis until December 20, 2024 at 11:59 AM EST, or until funds are fully expended (whichever comes first)!
Personal Support Worker Retirement Savings Innovation Program– Call for Concepts
The Personal Support Worker Retirement Savings Innovation Program (PSWRSIP) will provide funding to eligible initial recipients that are able to provide retirement savings incentives through tax-assisted private savings vehicles to personal support workers (PSWs) without workplace retirement security coverage. Canada Summer Jobs wage subsidy
Canada Summer Jobs is a program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), which aims to provide quality summer employment opportunities for youth to develop skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market.

Call for proposals: Youth Mental Health Fund
Health Canada is pleased to announce the launch of the Youth Mental Health Fund (YMHF) Open Call for Proposals. This Call for Proposals opens today, on November 18, 2024, and will remain open for 9 weeks closing on January 22, 2025.
Call for nominations for the Égalité Thérèse Casgrain award
The Égalité Thérèse-Casgrain award recognizes concrete actions in favor of equality in Quebec, You have until December 20, 2024 to submit a nomination.

BECOME Artistic Camp
We are thrilled to share with you an exciting new initiative from the Fondation Nouveaux Sentiers: the very first BECOME Camp! This unique camp will take place from December 9 to 14, 2024, at Camp Papillon, about an hour from Montreal. The goal of BECOME Camp is to offer 12 young members of First Nations, aged 13 to 17, an unforgettable experience of self-discovery and pride in their identity through inspiring artistic workshops, alongside talented artists such as Xavier Watso, Eruoma Awashish, Arousen Gros-Louis and others!

La cyberbultimidation, ça passe pas
The Quebec government is continuing its fight against bullying and cyberbullying by rebroadcasting the youth component of its “La cyberintimidation, ça passe pas” campaign, from November 8 to December 1.

First Nations and Inuit Food Security Table
One of the initiatives led by the Food Security Table for First Nations and Inuit, in which the FNQLHSSC actively participates, involves the development of a Food Network tailored to these communities. This project aims to strengthen food sovereignty and improve access to sustainable resources that meet the specific needs of First Nations and Inuit. As part of this effort, the first video capsule of a food security initiative in social economy highlights La Ruche Kokomino: Cultivating Creativity and Autonomy in Wemotaci, a flagship project spearheaded by the FNQLEDC | CDEPNQL.
