We also wish to warmly thank the outgoing members for their invaluable collaboration over the years. Their contribution has left a lasting mark on our organization. We extend our sincerest wishes for success and fulfillment as they continue their professional and personal commitments.

At the Pre-Annual General Assembly, special attention was given to a key issue: the integration of artificial intelligence into professional environments. Discussions highlighted the opportunities it offers, including process optimization, enhanced decision-making support, and improved accessibility and information analysis, as well as the challenges it raises, particularly in relation to ethics, data protection, and digital sovereignty. Cybersecurity, a central concern today, was also addressed as an essential element in ensuring responsible, secure use that respects First Nations realities.

The event was marked by a major milestone: the release of the first results from Phase 4 of the Quebec and Labrador First Nations Regional Health Survey. This data will help support the actions of communities and organizations in the areas of health and wellness.

At the Annual General Assembly, President Derek Montour presented his activity report, highlighting the major achievements and issues that shaped the year. Executive Director Marjolaine Siouï then unveiled the FNQLHSSC Annual Report and presented the priority projects for 2026–2027.
