Moose Hide Campaign Day, which takes place on May 16, 2024, is an initiative rooted in First Nations culture. This movement encourages men and boys of all origins to become agents of change by opposing violence against women and children. This day represents a significant national mobilization across Canada, during which men and boys are invited to take a stand against violence against women and children. By coming together, First Nations and their allies are actively participating in Moose Hide Campaign Day to demonstrate their commitment against this violence. 

This day is marked by a series of ceremonies and events across Canada with a view to raising awareness and preventing violence against women and children. By wearing a moose hide pin, participants show their commitment to honour, respect and protect the women and children in their lives while participating in symbolic ceremonies and fasts.
