The launch of the book entitled Ensemble : récits de cohabitation intergénérationnelle (together: stories of intergenerational cohabitation) took place on May 14 in Ekuanitshit. This collection gathers testimonials about intergenerational cohabitation from various families and communities, including members of the community of Ekuanitshit. Their stories highlight the richness of the ties between generations and the importance of passing on knowledge, values, and culture. At the launch, the book’s author and photographer both expressed their deep gratitude to Ekuanitshit. They spoke highly of the warm welcome they received during their stay, the generosity of those who agreed to share their stories, and the enriching exchanges, affirming that this experience has profoundly impacted them.
