FNFCS Claim

First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle Settlement: Funds have started to be distributed!

The claim period is officially open. The following people can submit a claim for compensation: children removed from their homes between April 1, 1991 and March 31, 2022 and their caregiving parents or grandparents.

Officially created on April 14, 1994, the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission (FNQLHSSC) works with First Nations communities and organizations for the accessibility and development of health and social services adapted to community needs.
