This awareness and information tool was designed for community workers in the area of health and social services. It was developed to prevent and control diabetes, a disease that affects all First Nations communities.The preventive component is addressed using practical means aiming to improve the way we eat while being more active.Interviews with diabetics and specialists focus on diabetes, gestational diabetes, risk factors, screening, treatment, complications and psychological impacts.
