Promoting equality and complementarity between First Nations and Inuit women and men
The Secrétariat à la condition féminine is launching a call for projects to promote equality and complementarity between First Nations and Inuit women and men. Indigenous women play an important role in the life of their communities; they are strong drivers of economic, social and cultural development. The Quebec government therefore wishes to support them in their actions and promote their leadership. You have until 4:00 p.m. on September 15, 2023, to submit your project. Working in partnership to make life better for Métis
On June 1, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a news release, in which he reaffirmed the government of Canada’s commitment to working with the Métis National Council to build a more prosperous future for all Métis citizens. To read the news release, click here.

Financial Support Program, Together Against Bullying
The Quebec government is launching a call for projects as part of the Together Against Bullying Financial Support Program for 2023-2024. This program aims to contribute to the fight against bullying and cyberbullying as well as to prevention for this type of violence. Non-profit organizations have until 4:30 p.m. on June 30, 2023, to submit their applications and projects. To apply or for more information, consult the program here.
New Pathways Foundation – BECOME
The New Pathways Foundation is preparing its major BECOME launch for August 2023! The Become initiative is a group of projects aimed at encouraging self-knowledge, academic and professional guidance, as well as academic perseverance for young people. For more information, click here.

Projects/Initiatives focusing on HIV self-testing, culturally safe care and harm reduction
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is pleased to announce that there is approximately $1.8M dollars of funding available for fiscal year 2023-2024 providing an opportunity for the submission of proposals to be considered for projects and/or initiatives that focus on HIV self-testing, culturally safe care, and harm reduction. Call for abstracts NEIHR
The NEIHR National Coordinating Center, in collaboration with the Wabanaki-Labrador Indigenous Health Research Network, invite graduate Indigenous students to submit an abstract describing their research projects. These submissions can be done as a two-minute audio or video clip or a 200-word abstract. All abstract submissions must be JULY 5, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. AST (11:59 p.m. EST) at NGGS@dal.ca.
