This brief outlines the issues facing First Nations2 and proposes certain measures that the Quebec government should put in place swiftly to ensure that Bill 15 meets the unique needs of First Nations. We ask that our recommendations presented on May 23, 2023, as part of the special consultations, and detailed in this brief, be taken into consideration by the members of the Committee on Health and Social Services.
