In the summer of 2020, the AFNQL and its regional commissions and organizations (RCOs) worked together to produce a report assessing the first wave of the pandemic, focusing on challenges faced and successes enjoyed by RCOs in the areas of continuity of services and client support. This assessment report also issued recommendations to help First Nations and partner organizations to better cope during the later phases of the pandemic.
Two years after the assessment report was published, a follow-up review was conducted to determine how much progress had been made in implementing the report’s recommendations and to take stock of what had yet to be done.
