In order to allow First Nations to learn more about the organizations advocating for rights as well as the remedy and complaint mechanisms available to them, and to raise awareness among the various players in the health network and other public services as to the realities of First Nations, the FNQLHSSC presented a series of webinars over the past few months on five themes:
1. Rights of users and complaint process in the Quebec health and social services network
2. Youth protection and Indigenous children’s rights
3. Rights and remedies in the event of exploitation and abuse of those who are most vulnerable
4. Rights of individuals in their relations with Quebec’s public services: a presentation by the Québec Ombudsman
5. The right to equality and remedies against discrimination
