This project was carried out in 2015 when the Government of Québec was preparing for the implementation of the Act respecting end-of-life care, which was to enter into force in December 2015. This portrait therefore presents the state of affairs prior to the coming into force of this act, which could have a considerable impact on the care and services offered in non-treaty First Nations communities in Quebec.
Although this act is addressed in this document, its application will be subject to further analysis by the FNQLHSSC.
