The “Our local development, our collective wellness” project was initiated by the FNQLHSSC as part of the celebrations marking its 25th anniversary in 2019. Conducted in collaboration with First Nations communities and organizations, this project aimed to showcase the major
developments, progress and successes of the communities and organizations in terms of health and wellness. Marked by the actions, inspiration and leadership of the organizations and communities, the achievements and progress of recent years reflect the constant evolution and many steps taken to foster First Nations governance. The local successes and developments presented in this booklet are the result of sustained collective efforts to achieve the wellness of our people.
